NEW YORK — Raymond Felton and Amare Stoudemire combined to score 40 points as the New York Knicks beat the Chicago Bulls 120-112 in their Christmas Day clash at Madison Square Garden.
Felton scored 20 points, dished out 12 assists and added five steals and Stoudemire also had 20 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks in another MVP performance for the Knicks, who limited the visitors to only 12 points in a fourth-quarter where both teams struggled to shoot the basketbal.
Leading Point guard Derrick Rose was the main contributor for the Bulls Saturday with 25 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals.
New recruit Carlos Boozer contributed a double-double – with 26 points and 19 rebounds in the defeat.
Meanwhile, the Knicks were winning their second straight game win losing three in a row – start against the Miami Heat, but it was the team’s 21st all-time win on Christmas.
