Chicago, Illinois (Sporting Alert) — Derrick Rose scored 26 points in a winning effort for the Chicago Bulls, who defeated the Miami Heat 93-89 at United Center on Thursday night.
Rose, who shot nine-of-24 from the field, also dished out six assists and five rebounds in his outing for the Bulls.
Luol Deng, who hit the go-ahead 3-point shot with 16 seconds left in the game, finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for Chicago (39-17).
Carlos Boozer added 16 points and nine rebounds for the Bulls.
Dwayne Wade had a game high 34 points and eight rebounds and LeBron James had 29 points and 10 rebounds for Miami (42-16) in the defeat.
It was also a game that saw Miami’s Chris Bosh shooting just 1-of-18 from the field to end with seven points.
