Cleveland, OH (Sporting Alert) – New Orleans Hornets All-Star point guard Chris Paul left Sunday’s game in Cleveland on a stretcher after a head-on collision.
Paul collided with the Cavaliers guard Ramon Session during a tussle for a loose ball in the third quarter and stayed down for several minutes before being taken off the court fully strapped down on a stretcher.
He was taken to hospital for further evaluation and SportingAlert understands that Paul is now moving his hands freely and talking.
The guard, who was a member of the All-Star contingent last month, had score 13 points and 11 assists in almost 27 minutes on the court.
