MILAN (Sporting Alert) — Inter Milan are willing to allow playmaker Wesley Sneijder to join English Premier League side Manchester United, but only if they can get Nani, reports are claiming.
According Italian sources, the Serie A club have been eyeing Nani and identified the Portuguese winger as the man they want to sharpen up their attack.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been a keen admirer of Sneijder, and was even linked heavily with a move for the Dutchman after the World Cup last summer.
However, the Scot would be reluctant to let go one of his most impressive players this season, although he sees the World Cup star as the perfect replacement for the ageing Paul Scholes in a United midfield that needs reshaping.
Sneijder, in the meantime, has not been in the same form as last season because of injury setbacks, but would be a welcome addition at Old Trafford.
