(Sporting Alert) — France and Argentina will tackle each other in the Group B opener of 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup on Saturday.

NOTE: Game time: 4:00 pm ET, 3:00 pm local | Live Streaming: ESPN3.com, FIFA.com.

France did not have the easiest of times booking their place to the tournament in Mexico, after doing just enough at the UEFA European Under-17 Championship to secure the slot.

The Euro giants only finished third following two draws and to get through ahead of the struggling Serbians, who failed to take advantage of the home support.

Opponents Argentina were not the powerhouses in their two matches either and all eyes will be on them to see just well they have recovered from the two defeats in last qualifying matches.
