MIAMI (Sporting Alert) — Following last week’s set of matches, the NFL playoffs will continue this weekend with four more divisional playoffs games.
NFL Saturday Playoffs Schedule
In the NFC on Saturday, the New Orleans Saints (13-3) will take an impressive winning streak to San Francisco to face the 49ers at Candlestick Park.
The Saints were easy 45-28 winners over the Detroit Lions last week, and are currently on a nine game winning streak, but could find the competition much stronger this weekend.
San Francisco 49ers (13-3), which were inactive last week, isn’t carrying such a long streak, but with three wins in its last outings and 12 in the last 14 makes them dangerous opponents.
Also on Saturday, the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots will clash in the AFC divisional NFL playoffs.
After losing three straight to end the regular season, the Broncos picked up an overtime 29-23 shocking result over the Pittsburgh Steelers, with quarterback Tim Tebow passing for 316 yards.
But they will have their hands full against the New England Patriots – another of the inform teams in the league this season.
The Patriots, will leading quarterback Tom Brady, who has 5235 passing yards, last played on New Year’s Day and they took a 49-21 results over the Buffalo Bills.
NFLÂ Playoffs Schedule On Sunday
On Sunday, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans tackle each other in an AFC divisional NFL playoffs contest.
The Texans knocked off the Cincinnati Bengals 31-10 last week to setup this weekend’s date.
When these teams last met on Week 6, the Ravens were 29-14 winners.
The other game Sunday evening will see defending champions Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers taking on the New York Giants in NFC action at Lambeau Field.
The last time these two teams met, the Packers (15-1) registered a close 38-35 victory in New York.
The Giants outclassed the Atlanta Falcons 24-2 last week in their Wild Card game.
