Tuscaloosa, AL (Sporting Alert) — The No. 12 Florida Gators snapped a two-game skid with a 61-52 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa, AL on Tuesday night.
Patric Young scored 19 points from 75-percent shooting from the field (9-12) to lead the way for Florida (20-6, 8-3 SEC).
Bradley Beal had 14 points and eight rebounds, while Erik Murphy also added 14 points in the win for the Gators, which were bouncing back from defeats to Kentucky and Tennessee.
Andrew Steele led the way for Alabama (16-9, 5-6) with 11 points and five rebounds.
Next up for the Crimson Tide is a home clash against Tennessee on Saturday, while the Gators will next play the Arkansas Razorbacks.
