MADRID (Sporting Alert) — Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has urged Blues fans to back current manager Andre Villas-Boas, despite his unstable start in the English Premier League.

On Saturday Chelsea fans sounded their disappointment with the Under pressure boss Villas-Boas, following his team’s 1-1 draw with Championship side Birmingham in the FA Cup.

A section of the stand also shouted “you’re getting sacked in the morning”, while chanting for Jose Mourinho to return to Stamford Bridge.

However, the current Real Madrid boss insists Chelsea fans must keep backing Villas-Boas, a man many regard as “another Special One.”

Mourinho also urged Inter Milan supporters to stay behind its current manager.

“I love my former sides Inter Milan and Chelsea, and their fans as well.” he was quoted as saying.

“I’d rather those fans supported their teams and their coaches rather than me. I’m their past, and a very good one at that, so they remember me.

“I’m no longer there and they should fight together instead of thinking about those who aren’t there any more,” he added.
