MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) – These are the players who have been listed as inactive for Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVI between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots in Indianapolis, IN.

Heading the list of players inactive for the Patriots is running back Kevin Faulk, who has played in four previous Super Bowls.
Inactive also are quarterback Ryan Mallett, linebacker Gary Guyton, running back Shane Vereen, guards Donald Thomas and Nick McDonald and defensive end Ron Brace.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski is active for the game, along with receiver Chad Ochocinco.
Meanwhile, linebacker Mark Herzlich is among the inactive players for the New York Giants.
Running back Da’Rel Scott, receiver Ramses Barden, offensive lineman Jim Cordle, defensive end Justin Trattou and defensive will be inactive as well.
