Women’s NCAA Tournament Schedule – Mar. 17

The nation’s top teams will begin their quest of the women’s NCAA national basketball title on Saturday.

March Madness is already up a running – and there are several upsets already – on the men’s side, which now paves the way for the women to show what they are all about.

Leading the way on the opening day are Maryland, which takes on Navy, Connecticut, who meet Prairie View A&M, Stanford, which face Hampton and Tennessee, which opens against Tennessee-Martin.

Connecticut (29-4) struggled in patches, but are now on a good run at both ends of the floor and are ready to make a run at another title.
