LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Manchester United are the heavy favourites to sign Lille star Eden Hazard, reports are claiming.
The player said he will be making his decision this coming week after playing in a friendly international.
According to the Sunday Express Sir Alex Ferguson and his Red Devils are in pole position to land the £30million Belgium player who is also attracting interest from several other clubs.
The likes of Manchester City and Chelsea have all been linked with Hazard and have also been given permission to discuss personal terms with the 21-year-old. It is also being suggested that Arsenal are also keeping close tabs on the player.
Hazard will be in action for Belgium against England on Saturday and it is believed that the forward will remain in the country after the friendly at Wembley to decide which of the Barclays Premier League team he will play for next season.
Manchester City are reportedly ready to offer him “£8m-a-year” as pay, but Manchester United, according to reports, have exactly what he wants and will choose the rich history over the cash.
