Messi scores first half-hatrick against RCA Casablanca

(Sporting Alert) — Lionel Messi has scored a hat-trick and Barcelona are currently cruising, 5-0 in their preseason friendly football clash against RCA Casablanca.

Also in good form is Chile attacker Alexis Sanchez, who has netted a brace so far.

In fact, it was Sanchez, who opened the scoring in the 13th minute at the Grand Stade before the world player of the year took over.

Messi scored in the 34th when he fired home a left-footer off the assist from Dutchman Ibrahim Afellay.

The Argentine forward was again on target four minute later, before Sanchez scored again in the 41st to make it 4-0.

Messi then scored just before half-time to complete his hat-trick and his team’s fifth goal in a dominant first half so far by Barcelona.
