Sneijder, who was linked twice to moves to join Sir Alex Ferguson’s side, has fallen out of favour at Inter Milan, with the club’s manager refusing to include him in his side until certain personal matters are taken care of.
Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni and club director Marco Branca, told the Dutchman that he wouldn’t play again for the Serie A side until he accepts a cut to his £200,000 a week wages, something he refuses to do up to this point.
It was Sneijder’s personal terms reports claimed that saw him failing to join Manchester United during the last transfer window, but the club is reportedly ready to make another move in its attempt to solve its weakness in midfield.
United lack that spark of creativity in midfield and Sneijder could just be the man to help eased that pressure.
Reports also suggested that he would love the opportunity to play alongside fellow countryman Robin van Persie and may very well make a move in the new year.
It is also believed that Manchester United are also looking at the possibilities of bring in either Mario Gotze or Mesut Ozil, as their options continues to open up.
