Sacramento (Sporting Alert) The Sacramento Kings say DeMarcus Cousins will start against the New York Knicks on Friday after he missed the last two games.
Cousins was told to stay in the locker room at halftime during the L97-85 defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers last Friday following a continuous confrontation with Kings head coach Keith Smart.
He was then suspended indefinitely and missed the back-to-back games against the Portland Trail Blazers.
On Sunday Sacramento picked up a 108-96 victory, but with Cousins reinstated, though he did not play, Portland returned the favour three days later with a 109-91 result.
Now it seems as though both parties have squashed their difference with Smart deciding on starting the star center who is averaging 16.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
The Sacramento Kings have won just three of its last ten games and one in its last three outings.
New York Knicks will be without several players, including star forward Carmelo Anthony, who is out with a knee problem.
