Ivory Coast Have Dropped Captain Didier Drogba For The Tunisia Game After The Forward Looked Out Of Sort Against Togo

Ivory Coast battled to a hard fought 2-1 victory over Togo, with Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure and Arsenal forward Gervinho getting the goals and coach Sabri Lamouchi hopes his team can build on this against a tough Tunisia team
Tunisia opened up their Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a 1-0 win over Algeria, with Youssef Msakni netting the stoppage-time winner.
“If we put up the same performance, the Tunisians will do their best not to make the same errors as Togo,” Lamouchi said.
“I envisage a difficult game and, above all, a different display from the Elephants. I didn’t recognise my players, and they didn’t recognise themselves (against Togo).
“That wasn’t what I see every day in training, but I am convinced things will return to normal.”
Meanwhile, Tunisia can also move closer to qualifying with a win.
Head coach Sami Trabelsi has acknowledged that Ivory Coast, one of the favorites to lift the entire title is a top team, but added that the Didier Drogba-led side is not “unbeatable.”
“Ivory Coast are a very good team but they’re not unbeatable,” Trabelsi said. “Certainly they have some of, if not the best players in Africa.
“I don’t understand why this generation of Ivorian players haven’t won the Cup of Nations.
“But that proves that they must have some vulnerabilities.”
Tunisia will be without striker Issam Jemaa, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the tournament with a knee injury he picked up against Algeria.
Tunisia have made two changes to the side from the last outing with Anis Boussaidi and Fakhreddine Ben Youssef coming into the starting team.
Ivory Coast, in the meantime, have dropped captain Didier Drogba after the former Chelsea forward looked far from himself in the win over Togo.
QUICK NOTE: Sky Bet are claims that Ivory Coast are at 8/15 to win the game today, while Tunisia are at 6/1.
