PARIS (Sporting Alert) Lucas Moura has completed his move to French big spender Paris Saint-Germain full of confidence and his looking forward to living to the expectations.
Moura, who in summer seemed destined to move to Manchester United before PSG convinced him with a bigger offer, officially joining the Ligue 1 side on Tuesday and the revealed that the 40 million euro ($52.8 million) price tag doesn’t come with any extra pressure.
“Everyone expects a lot from me but I have a lot of confidence,” the Brazilian said at his news conference.
“I’m glad to know (coach) Carlo Ancelotti is counting on me. I don’t feel the pressure.”
The attacking playmaker added, “choosing PSG is a challenge for me.
“They have a long history with Brazilian players and I hope I can add a new chapter to that story and please the fans.”
Lucas will official meeting the rest of his PSG teammates when he takes part in his first training session with later on New Year’s Day.
Paris Saint-Germain are locked at the top of the French League with two other teams with 38 points, but lead on goal-difference.
