Manchester City at QPR: Balotelli out, Live on ESPN3, Live Scores

LONDON (Sporting Alert) — As expected, there was no Mario Balotelli in the Manchester City team for tonight’s English Premier League game with QPR at Loftus Road Stadium.

The forward has agreed to sign with Serie A side AC Milan and have played his last game for the league champions.

Manchester City, meanwhile, made three changes from the side that beat Stoke City 1-0 in the FA Cup over the weekend.

Captain Vincent Kompany is also out with a calf injury he picked up against Stoke, so midfielder Javi Garcia will play at centre-back, while goalkeeper Joe Hart returns for the champions.

Samir Nasri is also back in the lineup, along with striker Sergio Aguero, who partners Carlos Tevez, with Edin Dzeko returning to the bench.

For QPR defender Ryan Nelsen starts in his last game with the English Premier League club before taking over as manager of Toronto.

Striker Loic Remy also returns, with manager Harry Redknapp making some eight changes to the team which lost 4-2 to League One MK Dons on Saturday.
