LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Chris Smalling and Gary Cahill have been trusted at center-back for England in tonight’s football international friendly against Brazil at Wembley Stadium.

Manager Roy Hodgson has also decided to mix youth and experience in midfield, with Tom Cleverley and Jack Wilshere playing alonside captain Steven Gerrard, who is expected to play in a more defensive role tonight.

Wayne Rooney, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck are the attacking options, while Ashley Cole, who makes his 100th appearance for England tonight, starts with Glen Johnson on the outside backs.

Attacking tricksters Neymar and Ronaldinho are amongst the starters for Brazil, with manager Luiz Felipe Scolari announcing his team early on Tuesday.

All eyes will certainly be on these two players, who have been tipped by the bookmakers to either score or setup the goals tonight.

Chelsea defender David Luiz, and midfielders Oscar and Ramires are also expected to be amongst the highlights.
