LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Sir Alex Ferguson has decided to ring the changes to his Manchester United side for tonight’s Barclays Premier League game with Fulham.
Ferguson made six adjustments from the side that defeated Southampton at Old Trafford in midweek, with defender Jonny Evans being one of them.
Tom Cleverley, Rio Ferdinand, Antonio Valencia, Rafael and Nani have all been drafted into the starting team for Manchester United.
Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie will lead the attacking line for the Premier League leaders, who can go ten points clear at the top of the table standings with a win tonight.
Phil Jones, also starts, but Chris Smalling, Anderson, Shinji Kagawa, and Danny Welbeck all dropped to the bench, while Nemanja Vidic, has been left out.
Fulham, meanwhile, will be without striker Dimitar Berbatov, while transfer deadline day signing Urby Emanuelson is only on the bench.
Chris Baird and Ashkan Dejagah come into the side for midfielder Berbatov and Steve Sidwell.
