MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — Chris Paul and Blake Griffin return for the Los Angeles Clippers in tonight’s NBA clash with defending champions Miami Heat at American Airlines Arena.

Paul returns after missing nine games because of an injured kneecap, while Griffin returns after sitting two games out because of an ankle and hamstring problem.
The LA Clippers went 3-6 without Paul during his nine game absence.
Also starting tonight is Chauncey Billups and he and Paul will link up with Caron Butler, Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.
Billups hasn’t played since Dec. 3.
Meanwhile, there is no Chris Bosh for the Miami Heat so Shane Battier has been handed the starting place to play alongside LeBron James at forward.
Bosh has been hit by the flu and did not make the squad. Wade is also battling with the flu, but will start tonight.
