Southampton v Liverpool
TEAM NEWS: Southampton made just one change from the side that drew with Norwich City for today’s clash with Liverpool, as Jose Fonte, who is on the bench makes way for Nathaniel Clyne at right-back. Liverpool in the meantime, will be without goalkeeper Pepe Reina, who failed to recover so Brad Jones starts in goal. Defender Martin Skrtel and midfielder Joe Allen come in for Jamie Carragher and Lucas Leiva, respectively.
Swansea v Arsenal
TEAM NEWS: Arsenal make three adjustments for today’s clash with Swansea City, as Nacho Monreal, who was ineligible in the Champions League, replaces Kieran Gibbs, while Abou Diaby comes in for Ramsey and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain starting for Tomas Rosicky. Lukasz Fabianski keeps his place in goal. Defender Thomas Vermaelen and goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who have been linked with away moves are not in Arsenal’s team. For Swansea City, Leon Britton returns in midfield after missing last week’s defeat against West Bromwich because of an injury.
Aston Villa v QPR
TEAM NEWS: Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert has decided to stick with the same starting team that beat Reading last weekend. QPR manager Harry Redknapp made two changes to the side that beat Sunderland 3-1 last week with fit again goalkeeper Julio Cesar replacing Robert Green and Jermaine Jenas starting for Junior Hoilett.
Stoke v West Bromwich
Stoke City made just one adjustment from side that edged Newcastle United last weekend with winger Matthew Etherington returning to replace Andy Wilkinson, who is back on the bench. West Brom boss Steve Clarke also made one change with Jerome Thomas coming in for Graeme Dorrans. Shane Long also starts after recovering from an ankle problem.
