OKLAHOMA CITY (Sporting Alert) — Oklahoma City will be looking to turn the tables on the Los Angeles Lakers when the two teams meet in a Western Conference game here at Chesapeake Energy Arena Tuesday night.

The Lakers (30-30) beat the Thunder (43-16) 105-96 when the two sides last met, but OKC has won two of the last three meetings this season.
Los Angeles, still harboring playoff hopes, finally reached the .500 mark for the first time in 2013 after edging the Atlanta Hawks 99-98 on Sunday.
Kobe and his fellow teammates will need to keep the winning streak going to avoid missing out at playing in the postseason and beating the Thunder on Tuesday is one game they would like to take.
The Lakers have won two in a row and five of its last six. They are 10-19 on the road.
Oklahoma City, in the meantime, has won four of five and has the second-best record in the Western Conference.
The Thunder are coming off a 108-104 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Centre on Sunday to shake off the 105-103 defeat to the Denver Nuggets.
