MIAMI, FL (Sporting Alert) — Defending champions Miami Heat enter the playoff with the best overall record following Wednesday night’s regular season finale and the following is their first round playoff series schedule with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh led Heat squad has been in dominating form this season and start the first round Eastern Conference series as the heavy favourites to sweep the Bucks in four games.
No.1 Miami (65-16) signed off their 2013 NBA regular season campaign with a comfortable 105-93 victory over the struggling Orlando Magic, even without the likes of James, Bosh and Mario Chalmers.
The No. 8 Bucks (37-44) which finished as the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference beat the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
So, a well rested Miami Heat team will open its playoff campaign on Sunday live on TNT at 7 p.m. ET in Game 1 of the series, with Game 2 moving to NBA TV next Tuesday night. Both opening games will be in Miami.
Game 3 will shift to Milwaukee be on Thursday, April 25 with Game 4 at the same venue on April 28.
