Woods shares the lead with first and second round leader Sergio Garcia and David Lingmerth and the three will get going at 2:28 pm ET on Sunday.

The trio is locked at 11 under, after finishing up their third rounds early Sunday morning, following Saturday night’s suspended action because of light problems. The third round had resume at 7:10 a.m.

There were tensions between Woods and Garcia, who accused the American of contributing to his distraction when he pulled a wood from his bag which brought applauds from the crowd.

“He moved the crowd that he needed to move, and I waited for that,” Garcia said. “I want to say that he didn’t see that I was ready. But you do have a feel when the other guy is going to hit.

“It was unfortunate. I might have hit it there if nothing happens, you never know. If I hit a good shot there and make a birdie, it gets my day started in a bit of a different way.”

But Woods moved to clarify this, stating the Garcia got his facts wrong.

”The marshals, they told me he already hit, so I pulled a club and was getting ready to play my shot,” Woods said.

”And then I hear his comments afterwards, and not real surprising that he’s complaining about something.”

Once again, Woods and Garcia play in the same group for the final round.

Woods, who is looking to push on the final day says he’s happy with his position ahead of his tee.

“I’m tied for the lead, so I’m right there,” the American said.

Meanwhile, Lingmerth is also happy with where he’s sitting heading into the final round, especially after his morning tee.

“Honestly, I feel pretty good over it,” a confident Lingmerth said after his action on Sunday. “Just kind of blocked it out.

“I was trying to hit a cut, which is my go-to shot really. I just kind of slapped it a little too much.

“The second shot was the one that was a little bit troubling. Hit a bad one there and got lucky to be on the fairway.”
