BIRMINGHAM (Sporting Alert) — John Terry and Demba Ba start for Chelsea in today’s English Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Manager Rafael Benitez, looking for the vital win that would virtually secure Champions League spot for next season, make four changes from the side which drew 2-2 with Tottenham in midweek, with Frank Lampard and Victor Moses also coming back into the side and Eden Hazard, who has shaken off an injury he had during the week, also starting.
Lampard returns to the starting line-up looking to score the goal that would see him equalling the club record of Bobby Tambling at 201 goals.
Fernando Torres, David Luiz and Oscar are back on the bench.
Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert makes one change to the side which beat Norwich in the last outing with Eric Lichaj replacing Matthew Lowton.
Gabriel Agbonlahor, who netted two against Norwich and leading scorer Christian Benteke lead the attack for Villa, with Darren Bent and Shay Given amongst those on the bench.
