SPORTING ALERT – Defender Gerard Pique starts for Barcelona in today’s La Liga clash with Celta Vigo at Balaidos.

Pique is available again having served a four game ban and manager Luis Enrique, who is delighted to have him back, has decided to recall the Spanish international to his starting lineup immediately.
Pique plays alongside Javier Mascherano at centre-back, with Marc Bartra disappointedly dropped back to the bench.
Brazilian right-back Dani Alves also starts with Jeremy Mathieu playing on the left side.
Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar will lead the attack for Barcelona, with Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Sergi Roberto playing in the midfield.
Besides Bartra, Ivan Rakitic, El Haddadi Munir and Adriano are also on the bench for the defending champions.
Meanwhile, Iago Aspas, who failed to spark at Liverpool during his time in the English Premier League, is among the starters for Celta Vigo.
Nemanja Radoja, Daniel Wass, Fabian Orellana and Nolito also start for the home side, with former Manchester City forward John Guidetti starting on the bench.
Celta Vigo, come into this game confident of beating the champions and staying undefeated in the league this season.
“We can play a type of football that allows us to beat any team in this league,” said coach Eduardo Berizzo.
“When we play our best, we are capable of beating the best teams in this league,” he added.
“It will be a very difficult game against Barcelona, but we think we can play up to their level and get the victory.”
Barcelona are coming off a 4-1 victory over Levante, with Messi scoring twice in the contest.
Enrique’s side is sitting second behind Atletico Madrid in the La Liga standings with 10 points, but a victory could see them going back to the top.
Celta Vigo edged Sevilla 2-1 the last time out with Duran and Wass being the scorers.
