Barclays Premier League Results – Aug 26

LONDON (Sporting Alert) – The following are the Barclays Premier League results after Sunday round of games.

Two games were played on Sunday with Stoke City holding Arsenal to a 0-0 draw and Liverpool let champions Manchester City off the hook in a 2-2 tie at Anfield.

On Saturday, there were wins for Chelsea, Manchester United, Everton, Swansea City and Wigan.

Chelsea maintained its impressive 100-percent start to the season with an easy 2-0 win over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge – with Fernando Torres and Eden Hazard getting the goals.

Robin van Persie scored the pick of the goals at Old Trafford in his home debut for Manchester United to defeat a determined Fulham 3-2.

Everton beat Aston Villa 3-1 on the road, Wigan stopped Southampton 2-0, while Swansea City picked up a 3-0 win over West Ham United.
