College Basketball ESPN3 schedule on Dec. 10

MIAMI, FL, Sporting Alert – ESPN3 schedule for men’s college basketball games on Saturday, December 10.

The schedule for today is loaded with contests from around the country, with two of those games involving teams ranked in the AP Top 25 rankings.

Duke Renew Rivalry With Rebels

Heading the list is No. 5 Duke, though in Spanish – which will take on UNLV in a 5:15 pm ET tip-off from in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The meeting between the Blue Devils and Runnin’ Rebels will renew a long time rivalry that has been put on hold since the early 90s.

It will also be the first basketball meeting at the new T-Mobile Arena.

Duke (9-1) heads into the game on a seven-game winning streak since losing to Kansas in New York on Nov 15.

The national championship title contenders are coming off an 84-74 win over No. 21 Florida on Tuesday night in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden.

Sophomore Luke Kennard, who scored 29 points in the win over the Gators, brings his average to 20.4 points per game, which leads the Blue Devils in scoring.

Freshmen Jayson Tatum and Marques Bolden returned in the last two games, which is a sign that Duke is getting healthy.

The only player left to feature this season is the highly-rated Harry Giles and Mike Krzyzewski believes he will be ready to play very soon.

“We’re hoping before Christmas — those two games,” Coach K said when asked about a possible time for Giles to return.

UNLV (5-3) has won two of the past three games, but ESPN’s Basketball Power Index is backing the Blue Devils at 96 percent to easily put away the Rebels on Saturday.

No. 3 Kansas will take on Nebraska in Spanish as well, with tip-off time set for 3:15 pm.

The Jayhawks (8-1) have won eight in a row since the season opener defeat to Indiana. ESPN’s BPI is backing Kansas at 96 percent to win against the Cornhuskers.

The other AP Top 25 team on the ESPN3 schedule on Saturday is No. 18 Purdue, which will face Cleveland State.

Purdue Boilermakers (7-2) have won two in a row and six of their last seven overall, while the Vikings (3-5) have been recovering from a patchy November period where they dropped four straight.

It will be the second meeting against a ranked team this season for Cleveland State, which was beaten 101-70 to then-No. 1 Kentucky on Nov 23.
