NORTH CAROLINA, Sporting Alert – College basketball Top 25 schedule, television channels, livescores and streaming information for the fixtures on Wednesday night, Jan. 11.

Highlighting the list of teams down for action on the night are No. 8 Creighton and No. 11 North Carolina.

At Lawrence Joel Coliseum in Winston-Salem, the Tar Heels (14-3, 2-1 ACC) will visit Wake Forest (10-6, 1-3 ACC) looking to build on their impressive victory over NC State at the weekend.

Justin Jackson, who is averaging 17.6 points per game this season, scored 21 points and star guard Joel Berry II added 19 for North Carolina in the 107-56 blowout win over the Wolfpack on Sunday.

The Tar Heels have won three of the last four games.

Wake Forest, meanwhile, is coming off a 79-62 defeat to then-No. 11 Virginia on Sunday night, and has lost three of the last four games to sit at the bottom of the Atlantic Coast Conference standings.

The Demon Deacons, who will be facing a No. 11 ranked team this season in successive fixtures, are also 0-4 against Top 25 ranked programs this season.

Tip-off time on Wednesday night is 8:00 pm ET and live national broadcast coverage will be on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.

Meanwhile, No. 8 Creighton will take on No. 12 Butler at CenturyLink Center Omaha in Nebraska, looking to win three straight since losing to defending champion Villanova.

The Bluejays (15-1, 3-1 Big East) are coming off a 78-64 win over Providence on Saturday, with Justin Patton scoring 20 points and Maurice Watson Jr. adding 11 points and 14 assists.

Butler (14-2, 3-1 Big East) is also off to a very strong start to the season and after taking down defending champion Villanova last week, the Bulldogs, who are away to their best start since 2012-13, will be gunning to add another ranked scalp to their already impressive resume.

Butler picked up an 85-76 overtime win over Georgetown on Saturday.

Star forward Kelan Martin leads the Bulldogs in scoring at 17.4 points per game, which is seventh in the Big East, while Creighton’s Marcus Foster is scoring 18.6 points per game, which is third in scoring in Big East play.

Elsewhere on Wednesday night, No. 14 Louisville (13-3, 1-2 ACC) take on Pittsburgh (12-4, 1-2 ACC), while No. 24 Minnesota (15-2, 3-1 Big Ten) will play Michigan State.
