Lamar Jackson and the seventh-ranked Louisville are punishing NC State, as the Cardinals are leading 44-0 at halftime.

Jackson has so far thrown for 304 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a score and 55 yards.

In fact, the sophomore quarterback has more rushing yards that NC State has total yards.

Amazing. Just amazing.

Louisville has 15 first downs compare to the Wolfpack’s two.

Elsewhere, No. 10 Wisconsin is leading Iowa 7-6 on the road at halftime in a Big Ten clash.

Heisman Trophy leading contender Lamar Jackson will also be hoping to keep his bulky advantage over the rest of the candidates battling for the college football individual honour later this year.

At the moment, Louisville is dominating this contest, leading NC State 17-0 in the first quarter, with Jackson already accounted for two touchdowns.

The star quarterback broke the deadlock with a 36-yard run for a score with 13:27 on the clock, before passing to Jaylen Smith for a 74-yard score with 5:21 left in the opening quarter.

Blanton Creque also made a 37-yard field goal to add to the score for the Cardinals.
