MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — Manchester City playmaker David Silva is once again being linked with a move to join Real Madrid this summer.
The Spanish international was rumoured to be a massive interest for Real Madrid a few seasons ago, but opted to leave Spain for England where he joined Manchester City.
However, it is again being reported that Madrid boss Jose Mourinho, who never quite followed up on perusing Silva when he took over, is now wanting to add the Spaniard to his squad for next season.
It is being reported that the La Liga champions are ready to made a £30million bid for Silva this week, with rumours have it that Mourinho is looking to freshen up his squad a big after the Euro tournament.
The 25-year-old is currently with Spain’s national setup at the 2012 Euro where he’s scored a goal in the two games so far.
Spain are the defending Euro champions.
They are also the world No. 1 and World Cup champions.
Mourinho picks them, along with Germany as the favourites to lift the title this year.
