LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Luis Suarez sits on top of the English Premier League goal scorer list, following the round 17 of games which recently completed on Monday.
The Liverpool forward, dig by many as the best player in the world right now on current form, leads the EPL top scoring list with 19 goals after scoring twice in the 3-1 victory over Cardiff City at Anfield at the weekend.
In fact, with those two goals Suarez became the first player to score 10 goals in a single month in the English Premier League, surpassing the eight goals scored by Mark Viduka for Leeds United in April 2003.
Following Suarez on the EPL scoring list is Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero, who has so far scored 13 goals but will be out of action for about six weeks.
Making a move up the table in recent days is England and Manchester United forward Danny Welbeck, who has scored three goals in his last two EPL outings to take his tally to five.
