(Sporting Alert) — Brazil, Mexico, Honduras and Sweden all hunt semi-finals spots at the FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament on Friday.
The first of the two quarter-finals Friday will see Honduras and Sweden battling each other in Al Ain at Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium with both teams confident of coming away with the historic result.
Victory for either side would see the progression to a first ever spot in the last four at a FIFA U-17 World Cup.
In the day’s other game, the highly fancied Brazil will take on a very impressive Mexico side looking to defend their honor.
The game will take place at Sheikh Rashid Stadium in Dubai and, as expected, as been highlighted as the match of the day.
Gabriel Boschilia fired home two goals in Brazil’s 3-1 win over Russia in their second round contest, Mexico eased past Italy 2-0 in their last 16 game.
Lots of attention will be on Nathan, who has been impressive so far at the tournament for Brazil.
