MANCHESTER (Sporting Alert) — The following are the English Premier League (EPL) games taking place on Sunday, along with some of the TV Channels that will broadcast these games live.
Live TV Channels: Al Jazeera Sport HD1, Al Jazeera Sport HD6, Sky Go, Sky Sport 2 HD, Sky Sport 2, ESPN, ESPN HD, beIN SPORT Premier League HD Indonesia, Sky Sports 1/HD, Sky Sports 1 Ireland, Premier League Extra Time, NBC Sports Live Extra, CNBC, Mun2, BBC One, BBC Radio 5 Live, DirecTV, Telemundo.
Heading the list of games on the fixture is the Manchester derby between defending champions Manchester United and arch rivals Manchester City, a game both teams will be looking to win as they eye an early advantage in the race for the title.
The Etihad Stadium hosts this game and the bookies are backing Wayne Rooney to open the scoring once again and with the form he’s been in, no one is betting against the England international to give United the early advantage.
Midfield playmaker David Silva could be fit for this game, but the Manchester City staff will wait until close to game time to make any decisions on whether he will play any part.
In the early kick-off at Emirates Stadium, Mesut Ozil makes his home debut for Arsenal against Stoke City and Gunners are hoping to seal a win that would see them move ahead of Chelsea into the lead at the top of the EPL table standings.
Mikel Arteta could also make a return for Arsenal in today’s game.
At Cardiff City Stadium, the home side entertains Tottenham with the hopes of beating another title contender, following their shocking victory over Manchester City earlier in the season.
In the day’s other game at Selhurst Park, Crystal Palace will host a very confident Swansea City side which has been impressive at home and in Europe recently.
