THUNDER 124, SUNS 103

OKLAHOMA CITY — Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook both collected double-doubles and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Phoenix Suns 124-103 in an NBA game on Sunday.

Durant finished the game with 32 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Westbrook had 21 points, 13 assists, six rebounds and four steals for Oklahoma City (4-3), which snap a three-game losing streak.

Also contributing in the win were Enes Kanter, who added 21 points on 9 for 10 shooting and Dion Waiters, who finished with 19 points.

Meanwhile, Eric Bledsoe scored 28 points and dished out 11 assists to lead the way for the Suns (3-4) who were losing two straight and three of the last four overall.

Markieff Morris scored 19 points, T.J. Warren added 17 and Brandon Knight ended with 14 for Phoenix.

HEAT 96, RAPTORS 76

MIAMI — Hassan Whiteside collected a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, and the Miami Heat cruised to a 96-76 win over the Toronto Raptors in an NBA game on Sunday.

Whiteside, who is averaging 14.7 points, 10.9 rebounds and 4.0 blocks so far this season, went 8 for 15 from the field, while finishing with six block shots.

Chris Bosh scored 23 points on 8 for 14 shooting, while pulling down eight rebounds, and Dwyane Wade added 12 points and Tyler Johnson scored 10 off the bench for Miami (4-3), which blew the game opened in the third quarter.

Jonas Valanciunas paced the Raptors with 17 points, DeMar DeRozan finished with 16 points and Kyle Lowry adding 15 points, eight assists and six rebounds for Toronto (5-2).

PISTONS 120, TRAIL BLAZERS 103

PORTLAND, Ore. — Andre Drummond and Reggie Jackson erupted to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 120-103 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in NBA action on Sunday.

Jackson scored a career-high 40 points on 15 for 26 shooting from the floor, while pulling down five rebounds, five assists and two steals for the Pistons ((5-1) who improved to 3-0 on the road.

Jackson scored 26 of Detroit’s 41 fourth quarter points.

Drummond scored 29 points on 14 of 19 shooting from the floor to go along with 27 rebounds, three blocks and two steals for the Pistons, who were grabbing its first win in Portland since 2007.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 16 points and Marcus Morris added 13 in the win for the visitors, who won two in a row.

Damian Lillard had 26 points and 11 assists for the Trail Blazers, with C.J. McCollum adding 18 points, Meyers Leonard ending with 17 and Allen Crabbe finished with 15 in the defeat.
