NFL Scores And Results In Week 6 On Oct. 18

TEXAS, Sporting Alert – NFL scores and results in Week 6 on Sunday, October 18. The Patriots, Broncos, Bengals, Vikings, Steelers all picked up victories.

VIKINGS 16, CHIEFS 10

MINNEAPOLIS —¬†Teddy Bridgewater threw for 249 yards and a touchdown and the Minnesota Vikings handed the Kansas City Chiefs a fifth consecutive defeat with a 16-10 win on Sunday.

The Vikings (3-2) were grabbing its first win coming back from a bye week, as they were 0-5 coming off a rest in previous meetings.

Kansas City had pulled within three when Alex Smith found Albert Wilson for a 42 yards touchdown with 8:46 left in the game, but without leading running back Jamaal Charles, who is out for the rest season, there just wasn’t enough firepower on the offense to get anything going.

Blair Walsh scored a 45-yard field goal with 4:51 left to put Minnesota six points up and then the home side held on for its third win in four games.

Stefon Diggs took seven catches for 129 yards and Adrian Peterson rushed for 60 yards for the Vikings.

Alex Smith passed for 282 yards and a touchdown for Kansas City.

BENGALS 34, BILLS 21

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Andy Dalton threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns and the Cincinnati Bengals improved to 6-0 on the season with a 34-21 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Dalton threw TD passes to Marvin Jones, Tyler Eifert and Jeremy Hill.

Jones also took nine of his 12 targets for 95 yards as the Bengals scored 31 points through the first three quarters.

EJ Manuel passed for 263 yards and a touchdown in the defeat for the Bills (3-3), who have dropped two its last three games.

STEELERS 25, CARDINALS 13

PITTSBURGH — Third-choice quarterback Landry Jones threw two touchdown passes to Martavis Bryant, including one for 88 yards and the Pittsburgh Steelers rallied in the second half to pick up a 25-13 win over the Arizona Cardinals.

Jones, who replaced Michael Vick in the third quarter after the veteran struggled and then left the game with a hamstring injury, passed for 168 yards and completed 8 of 12 attempts in helping the Steelers (4-2) to their second straight win.

Bryant, seeing his first action of the season since coming back from suspension, pulled down six of his eight targets for 137 yards for Pittsburgh, which was without injured first-choice QB Ben Roethlisberger.

Carson Palmer threw for 421 yards with a touchdown, but was picked off two times in the defeat for the Cardinals (4-2), who were losing their second in three games.

John Brown caught 10 passes for 196 yards and Larry Fitzgerald took 8 of 12 targets for 93 yards for Arizona.
