(Sporting Alert) — José Bosingwa returns from a virus and starts against Sunderland for Queens Park Rangers in Harry Redknapp’s first game in charge of the club.
The Barclays Premier League clash is at the Stadium of Light.
Redknapp also welcomes back Ji-Sung Park from an injury, but the former Manchester United midfielder starts the game on the bench, alongside Shaun Derry, Junior Hoilett, Anton Ferdinand, Fabio Pereira da Silva, and Shaun Wright-Phillips.
QPR sits at the bottom of the Premier League table with a win on four points and need a good start under the new boss.
Sunderland, meanwhile, will be looking to rebound from a 4-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion and manager Martin O’Neil has told his keeper Simon Mignolet that an outing such as the one on the weekend is unacceptable.
Midfielder Lee Cattermole, who left the West Brom game on Saturday with an injury, has been passed fit to play and starts tonight.
Carlos Cuéllar, Stéphane Sessegnon, Steven Fletcher and Adam Johnson all start as well.
