(Sporting Alert) Star point guard Rajon Rondo will miss Saturday night’s NBA game against the Golden State Warriors because of an injury.
Rondo will miss the contest with a bruised right thigh and hip problem the club has confirmed.
He is also a game time decision for Sunday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
Rando, who is averaging 13.6 points, 11.6 assists and 5.1 rebounds per game, felt the problem after taking part in the team’s shootaround morning session, but there were no reports revealing how he picked up injury.
“Rajon Rondo is out tonight with a bruised right thigh and hip and a game-time decision in Sacramento tomorrow,” Boston said on the club’s official Twitter account.
Boston (14-14) is looking to recover from the heavy 106-77 defeat suffered at the hands of the Los Angeles on Thursday night.
