(Sporting Alert) — Dwight Howard and Steve Nash will make their NBA debuts when the Los Angeles Lakers take on the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday night.
The Lakers loss everyone of their preseason games and have drawn several negative comments from leading pundits.
However, head coach Mike Brown isn’t too worried about the poor preseason outings and said he’s confident his team will build a good winning form very soon.
Star player Kobe Bryant, who has been doubtful for the game says he’s “85 percent sure” he’ll play.
“It’s just a matter of how sore [his foot] gets from now until I get to Staples [Center],” he told reporters.
Meanwhile, Mavericks will be without star forward Dirk Nowitzki and center Chris Kaman, who will both miss game because of injuries.
The Lakers are hoping to quickly put the preseason miseries behind them and make a winning start against a Mavericks team still looking for their best line-up.
