STORRS, Conn. (Sporting Alert) — DeAndre Daniels scored 24 points on 10-18 shooting from the field and No. 19 Connecticut picked up their fourth straight win after defeating Boston University 77-60 in their 2K Sports Classic college basketball fixture on Sunday.
Senior guard Shabazz Napier had 12 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals, while Ryan Boatright finished with 16 points in the win.
The Huskies (4-0) shot 49.1 percent on 27-55 shooting from the field, while going 8 of 17 from behind the arc in the victory at the Harry A. Gampel Pavilion.
D.J. Irving led the Terriers (2-1) with 17 points and six rebounds, while Dom Morris added 13 points and nine boards and Maurice Watson Jr. finished with 13 points and six assists in the defeat.
