Durham, NC (Sporting Alert) – Mason Plumlee scored 18 points and pulled down 11 rebounds as No. 2 Duke registered a comfortable 88-50 win over Delaware on Saturday.
Ryan Kelly also collected 18 points and Rasheed Sulaimon added 14 points and six assists for the No. 2 Blue Devils, who continued his impressive form this season.
Also in double figures on the day were Amile Jefferson, 12 points and six boards from the bench and Alex Murphy, 10, as the home side stayed undefeated on the season.
Duke (8-0) shot 52.2 percent from the field, but was only 7-of-20 from three point range.
Devon Saddler had a game 23 points to lead the way for the Delaware Blue Hens, who held to just 27.7 percent from the field on 18-of-65 shooting in that area.
Saddler also pulled down nine rebounds, but no other Delaware (2-6) player scored in double digits. The Blue Hens have now dropped its last four games.
