Durham, N.C. at Cameron Indoor Stadium
Miami (23-4, 14-1 ACC), are first in the Atlantic Coast Conference and defeated the then No. 1 Duke Blue Devils (24-4, 11-4 ACC), 90-63 when the two side met on Jan 23 in the middle of a 14 game winning streak.
That streak, however, was snapped by Wake Forest last Saturday, but the Hurricanes, who beat Virginia Tech 76-58 on Wednesday night to get back to winning ways, are confident of doing the double over Duke at the Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday night.
Duke, in the meantime, are yet to lose back-to-back games this season and are expected bounced back against a Miami side they’ve dominated in their all-time series.
The Blue Devils have a 15-4 all-time series lead against the Hurricanes, including a 1-7 home record, which dates back to the 1962-63 season.
However, it’s Miami, who holds the upper hand entering tonight’s contest, as they defeated in the last two matchups, including a 78-74 decision in overtime on Feb. 5, 2012 at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Following Saturday’s game with the Miami Hurricanes, the Blue Devils will take on Virginia Tech on Tuesday before wrapping up the regular season at North Carolina next week Saturday.
Miami will face Georgia Tech and Clemson – next Wednesday and Saturday to finished off the regular season.
