The supporters are already pouring in and a large group is well expected to fill up the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium for the historic encounter.

“We started the season slowly, but things are beginning to show up well for us and I expect Sooners to win tonight,” said a very confident Oklahoma fan as he prepares for the game.

Bob Stoops and his Oklahoma side has picked up three successive wins to improve to 5-1 on the season, while taking a 3-1 Big 12 record. The Sooners were comfortable 52-7 winners against Kansas in its last outing.

Notre Dame enters with 7-0 record on the season, its best start since opening the 2002 season when the team went 8-0 and the confidence in the team is at a high point at the moment.

The team has no problems beating ranked programs after picking up three in that column already, but tonight’s clash with the onform Sooners will be the toughest they will face so far this season.

These two programs will face-off for the 10th time the first time in Norman since 1966.
