LONDON (Sporting Alert) – Chelsea fans are still wanting interim manager Rafa Benitez to leave Stamford Bridge and reports are also claiming that they are ready to turn on wasteful Fernando Torres as well.

Despite scoring a brace on his debut for Chelsea in a 5-1 victory in the English FA Cup last weekend, Demba Ba was left on the bench and Torres selected from the start in the Capital One Cup.

And the Spanish international was a major disappointment in the 2-0 defeat to Swansea City, and fans were left frustrated.

In fact, Torres’ poor opening 45 minutes saw several pundits calling for him to be immediately subbed out at half-time during their interval discussions.

Benitez shock decision to start Torres over Ba, left angry Chelsea fans protesting and calling for both Spaniards to pack their bags and leave.

The fans even voiced their support for former boss and current Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho to return, while there were many who still sang for Roberto Di Matteo, who won the FA Cup and Champions League, but was still sacked.

It is believed that Torres, who had backed Chelsea signing another striker, is again feeling the pressure of having another better goalscorer hanging over his shoulders.

The supporters have already labelled Ba as the first choice striker, following his impressive scoring record for Newcastle in the EPL.

They demanded Benitez to take Torres off against Swansea and play the Sengal international, though he was no help in the end.
