Anthony, Woodson, Noah, Chandler all ejected in fourth quarter mess

NEW YORK (Sporting Alert) — Carmelo Anthony and Mike Woodson were two of the four people ejected in the fourth quarter from the New York Knicks’ NBA clash with the visiting Chicago Bulls at Madison Square Garden.

Joakim Noah and Tyson Chandler also got into it and had to be separated by their teammates, resulting in both players receiving technicals and dumped from the game.

Anthony was the first to go after he apparently said something following a foul called on him and he was thrown out of the game for a second technical with the Knicks struggling to keep up with the Bulls’ physical play.

Carmelo left the game after scoring 29 points.

Shortly after that, New York head coach Woodson received his marching orders as well for a second technical – prompting loud jeers from the crowd towards the officials.

Noah and Chandler then got into a heated brawl under the basket and the pair were given double technicals and thrown from the game as well.

J.R. Smith also left the game after he was fouled out in the fourth quarter. He finished with a seasonal equalling high 26 points and 10 rebounds.
