LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Arsenal are on form at the moment and boss Arsene Wenger says his side is ready to continue it good run of form with another win against Aston Villa in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.

Arsenal have won its last five games and moved to third place in the Premier League tables – following wins over Tottenham, Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton, and will start favourites to snatch all three points at the Emirates Stadium.

Captain and in form striker Robin van Persie has been hammering the goals this season and no one will bet against him scoring again on Saturday.

In team news, midfielders Abou Diaby (hamstring) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) and defender Per Mertesacker (ankle) will miss the game because of injuries, although Wenger says Wilshere could feature before the season is over.

Aston Villa will be without injured players Darren Bent (ankle), Fabian Delph (ankle) and Richard Dunne (shoulder) for the clash.
