LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Wojciech Szczesny returns in goal for Arsenal in Tuesday night’s Barclays Premier League game against Everton at Emirates Stadium.
Szczesny, who has been out of the team in recent games, was recalled to start for Lukasz Fabianksi, who has been ruled out due to a rib injury.
Midfielder Tomas Rosicky has recovered from the hamstring injury which forced him to miss Saturday’s 3-1 win over Norwich City, starts today’s game on the bench.
Per Mertesacker returns in defense, so Thomas Vermaelen is back on the bench.
Elsewhere, Theo Walcott starts in the attack in place of Gervinho.
Everton manager David Moyes meanwhile, make the one change to his team, with 19-year-old Ross Barkley starting for Leon Osman.
