LONDON (Sporting Alert) — Midfielder Tomas Rosicky and defender Per Mertesacker return for Arsenal in Tuesday’s Barclays Premier League clash against Everton at Emirates Stadium.

Rosicky returns from a hamstring injury, while Mertesacker is back from suspension.

“Mertesacker and Rosicky are back in the squad for tomorrow,” Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger has revealed on the club’s official website at

However, goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is a major doubt for the Gunners because of a rib injury.

“Fabianski is a major doubt but we will decide that tomorrow, Wenger said. “He got a kick in the rib [against Norwich City].”

Everton manager David Moyes has not reported any fresh injuries, but take a look at a few players who suffered some minor bruises in the win over QPR.
