Arsene Wenger’s men will be hoping to land the title in the upcoming season, after a number of near-misses over the years.

With the likes of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Petr Cech, new recruit Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla, the men from London, will again be upbeat about their chances of finally ending the drought.

The Arsenal fixtures get going with a pair of very complex matchups at home and away.

Wenger’s side will entertain Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on the opening weekend, on August 13, a game that neither side will want to lose, as it could be pivotal in the title race.

The Gunners will then travel to defending champions Leicester City the following weekend, as the battle for early points continues.

Wenger and new English Premier League arrival Antonio Conte will lock horns in the league for the first time on September 24 when Chelsea visit Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal fixtures continue with another back-to-back tricky face-off in November against strong title contenders.

On November 5, north London neighbours Tottenham will travel to take on Wenger’s men, before Jose Mourinho and Manchester United make the trip to play the Gunners on November 19.

Arsenal will end the season on May 21 at home against Everton, while Manchester United will host the 13-time top flight champions in the month as well.

Their Christmas schedule will be two home battles against West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace, with the first contest in the New Year will be away to Bournemouth on January 2.

The Gunners, who last won the title in the 2003–04 season, were in the thick of things, along with Leicester City and Tottenham in the trophy race, but lost their way in February and March and finished 10 points behind the Foxes.

Wenger will be hoping to recruit well this summer, as he seeks to mount a better change.
