Arsenal linked with Atletico Madrid forward Adrian

LONDON (Sporting Alert) – Arsenal FC have made a transfer bid to bring Atletico Madrid forward Adrian to the English Premier League, reports are claiming on Tuesday.

According to SkySports, Arsenal have made an offer of £10million for the striker as manager Arsene Wenger looks to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window.

It is understood that the Adrian has a £15million release clause in his contract and Atletico Madrid, who have sold the likes of Fernando Torres and Sergio Aguero to teams in the Premier League before, would be interested in selling for the right price.

The 24-year-old Adrian has scored four goals so far this season, two of which came in the La Liga, but spend more of his time coming off the bench.

Wenger said on Tuesday that he is looking to add to his Arsenal team in January, so he could very well make a move for the Spaniard.

“I will be active [in the January window] yes,” the boss said. “We are looking everywhere. We are open-minded. We want to strengthen the squad everywhere.”

In Chelsea FC transfer rumors, reports are claiming that Metalist Kharkiv attacking midfielder Taison is a target of the EPL club, with the Brazilian even said to be linked with a January move.

Taison, a former Internacional team-mate Chelsea midfielder Oscar, is apparently interested in the move – “confirming that he recently visited Stamford Bridge and spoken with the club.”
